Hidden in a small Spanish town lies a building where time has been standing still for over 40 years — a centuries-old botica, a traditional pharmacy. 🏛️🇪🇸
Built in 1690, this grand house belonged to Don Juan, whose apothecaries earned prestige far beyond the region. For more than two centuries, people traveled here to buy their remedies, potions, and cures. When the last pharmacist passed away in the 1980s, the doors were closed — and everything inside was left behind.

Today, shelves still hold jars of medicine, hand-labeled bottles, and ledgers from another age. Upstairs, the living quarters remain just as the family left them: bedrooms with antique furniture, kitchens stocked with utensils, and portraits gazing out from peeling wallpaper.

Inside, we uncover:

It’s been three years since horror movie filmmaker Zach Cregger unleashed Barbarian on unsuspecting audiences. The Weapons trailer generated early buzz thanks to its unpredictability, unconventional premise, and enthusiasm from die-hard horror buffs.

On August 8, Cregger returns to theaters with Weapons, another fright fest with clever viral marketing, a cherry cast, and positive reviews going into its release. The first reactions to Weapons are making the rounds online, with critics and moviegoers saying it’s another feather in Cregger’s cap, proving he’s a filmmaker to watch with a promising career ahead.

The first Weapons reactions call Cregger’s film a horror masterpiece, saying it’s a brilliant commentary on the attitudes and institutions during the fallout of a communal tragedy.

Coming off a movie as insane and surprising as Barbarian, writer-director Zach Cregger certainly knew his next movie would carry massive expectations. That movie is now almost here and, based on the latest weapons trailer, he may have just blown those expectations away.

Cregger wrote and directed the film, which stars Julia Garner (Ozark, Fantastic Four First Steps) as a teacher who walks into school one day to find almost her entire class has gone missing. No one else has gone missing. Just 17 students from her class only. And, in fact, they all simultaneously, at 2:17 a.m., got up out of bed, ran out their front doors, and never returned.

That’s the true crime mystery at the center of Weapons, which unfolds in an almost Robert Altman or Paul Thomas Anderson version of a horror movie with multiple characters—Garner’s, but also a father played by Josh Brolin, a principal played by Benedict Wong, and a cop played by Alden Ehrenreich, and others—all reacting to this horrific mystery. 凶器預告

Warner Bros ad New Line Cinema kicked off the summer with Final Destination Bloodlines, and Weapons promises to be an equally cool, intriguing premise that audiences will find out about when it hits theaters and IMAX on August 8.
