Sarà al cinema da sabato 4 gennaio a lunedì 6 gennaio 2025 il documentario “Pino Daniele – Nero a metà”, scritto da Marco Spagnoli e Stefano Senardi, un ritratto intimo e profondo della vita e carriera del cantautore napoletano, una delle figure più importanti della musica italiana. A 10 anni dalla scomparsa di Pino Daniele, il documentario sarà l’occasione per riscoprire l’uomo dietro l’artista, grazie ai racconti e le emozioni racchiuse in uno dei suoi album più rappresentativi.

Prodotto da Fidelio ed Eagle Pictures, per la regia di Marco Spagnoli, “Pino Daniele – Nero a metà” ripercorre la prima parte della carriera di Pino Daniele. Attraverso gli occhi di Stefano Senardi, amico di lunga data e storico produttore di Pino, il documentario offre uno sguardo inedito sul legame tra l’uomo e l’artista, esplorando il lato più autentico e personale del musicista napoletano.
Senardi guida il pubblico attraverso una serie di interviste esclusive con alcuni dei più stretti collaboratori e amici di Pino. Una vera e propria celebrazione non solo della musica dell'artista, ma anche dei suoi pensieri, della sua passione per Napoli e della sua capacità di innovare continuamente il panorama musicale. Tra i protagonisti delle interviste, i musicisti che hanno accompagnato Pino Daniele nella sua straordinaria carriera, dando voce a storie ed aneddoti unici.

Il regista Marco Spagnoli crea una narrazione che mescola immagini di repertorio, musica e testimonianze, dando vita a un percorso emozionale che esplora la cultura napoletana e il suo legame indissolubile con l’anima di Pino Daniele e rendendo Napoli un vero e proprio personaggio del documentario.

In “Pino Daniele – Nero a metà” le immagini di Napoli si fondono con le melodie di Pino Daniele, creando un’esperienza visiva e sonora che porta lo spettatore a immergersi completamente nel mondo dell’artista.

“Pino Daniele – Nero a metà” è diretto da Marco Spagnoli, scritto da Stefano Senardi e Marco Spagnoli. Dopo il successo per Franco Battiato – La Voce del Padrone, Miglior documentario al Nastro D’Argento 2022, Spagnoli e Senardi continuano il loro viaggio nella storia della canzone d’autore italiana.

Il documentario, interamente girato a Napoli, ha la voce narrante e consulenza musicale di Stefano Senardi ed è prodotto da Daniele Basilio e Silvio Maselli per Fidelio e da Roberto Proia per Eagle Pictures. Produttori esecutivi sono Francesca Andriani e Guglielmo D'Avanzo, organizzatore generale Carmine Daniele. Direttore della fotografia è Gianluca Rocco Palma, il montaggio è affidato a Jacopo Reale. A distraught ex-alcoholic mother who has nothing left to fear in life is confronted one night in her car by a crazed serial killer who can only kill those who fear him.

Recovering alcoholic Shannon (Augie Duke) faces her darkest hour when her wife Jamie (Delilah Andre) seeks divorce and sole custody of their young son Alby (Ayden Lozano). After her lawyer (Tom Malloy) confirms the dire legal situation, Shannon breaks her sobriety and is abducted by a notorious serial killer known as the Priest (Vince Lozano), who targets those he deems sinners, terrorizing them with biblical quotations before killing them. But Shannon proves an unusual victim. Still battling the after-effects of alcoholism, including random blackouts, and having hit rock bottom in her personal life, she shows no fear of death. Drawing from her decade of Catholic schooling, she challenges the Priest’s biblical rhetoric, turning his arguments against him. Her unexpected blackouts during their encounters further infuriate him. The dynamic shifts dramatically when the Priest discovers Shannon’s weakness – her son Alby – and threatens to make him his next victim instead.
