Some of my favorite Stephen King adaptations have been the stories that aren't even horror... they are about what it means to be alive.

THE LIFE OF CHUCK follows in the tradition of STAND BY ME and THE GREEN MILE... Yes, it does give us a few goosebumps along the way... and it does delve into the supernatural... But at it's heart, this story by Stephen King, is a celebration of the human condition. And if you love the novella, you will be pleased to know that the Mike Flanagan film is a (mostly) faithful retelling in all the best ways.
